PROPER USAGE GUIDE: USING SHARP/POINTY OBJECTS when playing with belt and APPLYING PRESSURE WHEN OBJECTS ARE STUCK IN COGS COULD CAUSE DAMAGE & TEARS TO THE PLASTIC BELT. We advise that children are encouraged by educators/parents to problem solve if belt gets stuck, finding out what is obstructing the cog wheels from turning, rather than forcing the belt to turn which could cause damage. When the belt stops turning it usually will be due to one of the objects children have been using with the belt has lodged itself underneath the belt and is now obstructing the cogs from turning around. What an amazing opportunity to learn problem solving & engineering skills! Using hard sharp/pointy objects (eg. gravel/stones) will damage the plastic belt and could cause belt to tear. We recommend using objects on belt that do not have hard sharp/pointy edges. This will ensure longevity of plastic belt.
