Can I make changes to an order I have already placed?

You can edit, cancel your order or specific items, and more if your order is not yet being processed, by calling our Customer Service Line at 1 (800) 265-1095.

Can I make my purchases with my account?

If you have an existing account with Scholars Choice, you can order on account from our website. Simply select the “Purchase Order” option on the payment section of the order process and enter your Purchase Order Number. 

If you are interested in opening a school or institution account, you will need to fill out and submit a credit application online or download the Credit Application PDF and apply by email  sales@scholarschoice.ca . You can submit your credit application with your order, but the order will be held pending approval of the application. If you want your items immediately, prepay with PayPal or a credit card and use your account for future orders. 

Can I request a quote?

Yes you can! Please email customerservice@scholarschoice.ca

Do you charge sales tax? What if I am exempt from paying sales tax?

By law, we are required to charge sales tax in all provinces where applicable. Please note that some provinces charge tax on shipping costs in addition to the purchase total.   

Belong to a tax-exempt organization? Enter your sales tax-exempt number when you fill in your billing information. We must have your current tax-exempt certificate on file in order to qualify. To check if we have your certificate on file, call our 1 (800)-265-1095 and option 3 to speak to the Accounting Department. 

How can I request an invoice?

You can request an invoice by emailing customerservice@scholarschoice.ca

How do I apply a coupon code at checkout?

When you are done placing items in your shopping cart, proceed to your cart by clicking on the cart icon at the top right of the page. There you will see a field to enter a coupon code. Enter your coupon code into the field and click “Apply.”

How will I know if Scholars Choice received my order?

When your order is received successfully, an order confirmation is displayed on screen. Additionally, we always send an email confirmation to the email registered on your profile. This occurs immediately after you place your order. This confirmation will include your entire order summary and your order number. If you don’t receive a confirmation within a few minutes, please email customerservice@scholarschoice.ca so we can provide your order details and confirm your registered email address.

If an item is out of stock, am I still able to order it?

If you are able to add the out of stock item to your cart, you will be able to place the order and the item will be shipped once stock becomes available.

Is the information I provide during checkout secure?

Why does it seem like furniture is always out of stock?

Certain items on our website are special order items that are only purchased when requested.

Why is my coupon/promotional code not working?

The products in your cart may not be valid with the current promotion. Ensure you are reading the fine print on the promotional page to verify that your order has met all of the requirements needed to use the coupon/promotional code. What if I have a damaged or defective product?

Please CLICK HERE to download a claims report to report any damages.

Email your form back to claims@scholarschoice.ca with your order number and photos of the damages. 

From there, our claims team will reach out with the next steps.

SHIPPING FAQs

Does Scholar's Choice offer a in-store pickup option?

To place an order for in-store pickup must be ordered through the Retail Location the items are being shipped to with a minimum spend of $25.00.

 

Why am I not able to select the Ship To The Store option?

In order to ship to the store, all of the items in your cart must bein stock and available and your order sub-total (before taxes) must meet the minimum required amount. Make sure to also check that your location is in shipping distance of the store.

WEBINARS AND CERTIFICATE FAQS

Can I get a certificate if I don't watch the webinar live?

No, unfortunately, to receive a certificate you must watch the webinar live. We have no way of checking how much of the webinar you watched during the replay, these certificates are a form of training and we have to be fair with how these are distributed.

Can I watch a webinar after it was live?

Yes! We will send out a link within 48 hours of the webinar ending. You will be able to watch the webinar for 96 hours after the webinar ends.  

Please note, certificates on replays are ONLY available for Vault Members

How can I download or print my certificate?

Certificates for webinars that you attended can be accessed here. Certificates will appear on your account within 48 hours of the last webinar you attended.  Certificates expire from your account within 3 days, so please print them off.  Permanent access to certificates are available to Vault Members. 

How do I qualify for a certificate?

1) You cannot be unsubscribed to our emails.

Note: If you are unsubscribed to mailing list and would like to re-subscribe follow the instructions by CLICKING HERE

2) You must watch the webinar with your unique link provided to you upon registration of the webinar.

3) You must stay a minimum of 40 minutes in the live room

4) You must watch the webinar live at 8:00 PM (EST)

Note: You will be sent to a Replay Room if you are 10 minutes late to the webinar. Although you will be able to watch the webinar, you will not qualify for a certificate.

5) Only one person per account can receive a certificate.

6) You must have completed our webinar feedback form. This is provided during the live webinar and/or emailed to you.

7) Certificates expire in 3 days unless you a paid subscription to the Vault.

How does my certificate arrive?

An email will be sent to you to confirm your information within 48 hours of the webinar ending. You will only be able to fill in this information once so please make sure all your information is correct. You must be present for a minimum of 40 minutes of the webinar to receive a certificate.

How do I register for webinars?

Join our webinar mailing list to get an email for upcoming webinars. Alternatively, keep an eye on our social media pages or visit our Webinar Page for upcoming webinars.

What happens if I don't get my certificate?

If you do not get a certificate please check all of your inboxes and check junk folders. Try searching webinar@scholarschoice.ca in your search bar and make sure the search is open to all inboxes. If you are unable to find it any inbox please email us at

What if I am using a Gmail Account?

If you are using a Gmail account some of our emails will get sent to your “promotions” inbox located alongside the “primary” inbox. Please make sure you do not have this inbox disabled or you will not receive emails from us.

What if I am using a work email account and not receiving emails?

Sometimes work accounts block emails from certain addresses. If you seem to be missing emails from us, have checked all folders, and are subscribed to our mailing list, you may need to contact your I.T support to make sure Scholar’s Choice is not a blocked contact.

When will my certificate arrive?

Within 48 hours of the webinar ending.

Why wasn't my certificate emailed to me?

If you didn't receive your certificate via email, you may have have unsubscribed from our emails.

How do I set up an account with Credit Terms?

If you have an existing credit terms with Scholar's Choice, you can order on account from our website. Simply select the “Pay with assigned terms” option on the payment section of the order process and enter your Purchase Order Number. 

If you are interested in opening a school or institution account, you will need to fill out and submit a credit application online or download the Credit Application PDF and email sales@scholarschoice.ca

How long is the membership valid for?

365 days from the date of purchase.

If I place an order and purchase an SC Rewards membership at the same time, will I qualify for the member discount?

Yes, you will qualify for the discount!

What do I get with SC Rewards?

What You Get with Membership:

  • 10% Discount on ALL Items
  • A 5% Discount on Furniture and Oversized Items, marked by a "THIS ITEM IS OVERSIZED" symbol

What is the cost of membership?

$10 plus tax.

Why are my SC Rewards not applying?

Be sure you are logged in as an SC Rewards registrant with the same email address you used when you originally signed up in-store or online. If your membership has expired, you can renew by placing SC Rewards into your cart.

Pricing on our site reflects your 10% SC Rewards membership discount. In the case of an event or promotion, your SC Rewards pricing will reflect the 20% pricing difference - your 10% discount plus an additional 10% in savings.

For furniture and oversized items a 5% member discount is applied. In the case of an event or promotion, your SC Rewards pricing will reflect the 10% pricing difference - your 5% discount plus an additional 5% in savings.

How can I be added to or deleted from Scholar's Choice email list?

You will be added to Scholar's Choice email list when you register for an account.

Click on the link under “Forgot your password?” On the password help screen, simply enter your email address. A temporary password will be emailed to you.

How do I track my order?

Once an online order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation via your registered email address. Depending on the shipping method, the shipping confirmation may provide a tracking link directly to the carrier’s website.

Tracking that begins with:

- Numbers is generally Canada Post Canada Post - Track a package by tracking number

My order isn't showing me tracking information but it shows the order has shipped, who do I contact?
