At Scholar’s Choice, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. Many of our items — especially furniture — are backed by generous warranties, giving you peace of mind and long-lasting value.

Types of Warranties We Offer

Our products come with a variety of warranties depending on the manufacturer and product type:

• Limited Manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty – Available on many of our classroom furniture and storage solutions. Backed directly by the manufacturer for the life of the product.

• 5-Year Warranty – Common for high-use furniture items such as tables, shelving, and dramatic play sets.

• 2-Year Warranty – Covers many classroom essentials, including select seating, activity tables, and mobile storage.

• 1-Year Warranty – Applies to certain accessories, storage solutions, and smaller classroom items.

How We Handle Warranty Claims

If a product fails during its warranty period due to structural damage under normal use, we will issue a proportional credit toward the purchase of a replacement item.

Example:
If a product with a 10-year warranty fails after 6 years, you’ll receive a credit equal to 40% of the original purchase price toward a replacement.

For Lifetime Warranties, credits are calculated the same way as a 10-year warranty, but we always maintain a minimum 10% credit for the life of the product.

Whenever possible, we reserve the right to have the item repaired to restore full functionality.

What’s Covered

• Structural damage under normal use

• Manufacturer defects

Not Covered:

• Damage to finishes caused by improper cleaning or care

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or modification

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

1. Have your proof of purchase ready – All claims require a receipt or order confirmation.

2. Contact our Customer Service team – Please CLICK HERE to download a claims report to report any damages.  Email the form to claims@scholarschoice.ca

3. We’ll guide you through the next steps – This may include submitting photos, arranging a repair, or processing a replacement credit.
