Something Fishy at Macdonald Hall is the story of two boys, Bruno and Boots, and a series of escapades that surround Macdonald Hall. Edward, Boots’ younger brother, has just enrolled at Macdonald Hall. Mr. Sturgeon, the Headmaster of Macdonald Hall, is considering resigning, saying that there are no more challenges left. A series of escapades captures everyone’s attention, including the dressing of Sir John A. Macdonalds's statue in a scuba suit; the blue-dyed swimming pool; detour signs on Highway 48; and the stuffing of the cannon with a human mannequin. The mystery unfolds as the two boys try to capture the person responsible.
