Valentine's Day is a time when we express feelings of love, affection and friendship. Your students will enjoy the historical perspective of St. Valentine's Day while they explore the meaning of friendship in their own lives. In addition, students will stretch their literacy and vocabulary skills, as well as critical thinking and research while they learn about some of the more 'scientific' sides of Valentine's Day lore.
