Encourage students in grades 3Ð5 to become responsible citizens who participate in government using U.S. Government and Presidents. This 128-page book covers the history, ideals, and symbols of the U.S. government; the Constitution; the three branches of the government; each president through the November 2008 election; and voting and citizenship. The lessons can be taught in any order. This resource supports NCSS standards and aligns with state, national, and Canadian provincial standards.
